Not knowing when to let a joke die, TheOrange approached Traegorn Ravenhawk
at GenCon 2000 and asked him "So, when are we gonna do season
2?" Over two years later, the final episode has yet to be written, but
finally Beast Machines: The Lost Episodes hurdles towards its dramatic and
not-as-funny-as-it-should-be conclusion!
Benny has begun a mad quest to discover the Last Autobot, probably something
he read in a comic book somewhere as a lad. NickBee realizes one truth of
his identity and questions his loyalties. The Maximals are aligned with
some unusual and familiar-looking allies. Geever and Crawley still need to
find a way to get home. And Unicron, still trapped in his tomb-like head,
quietly plots dominion over the chaos below. Will Cybertron end up a
vegetable, or something far more horrifying?
Who is to say. In the Lost Episodes, when one door closes, another
opens just a crack to afford you a glimpse of something horrific yet
terrifyingly irresistible, like seeing your grandmother naked in the bathtub.
A terribly funny injoke that's gone too far, or a zany yet somewhat clever
part of Transformers comedic fan fiction? The only way to know for sure is
to once offer up your internet soul to the altar of unoriginality. Read
